Einstein Opportunity Scoring

After enabling this feature, the sales team is in high mode and they can prioritize opportunities and close maximum deals. Opportunity score is a standard field on opportunity and it will be displayed to all users on opportunity score but Salesforce org at least one Sales Cloud Einstein licence. To set up Einstein opportunity scoring you need Customize Application AND Modify All Data user permission needed.

Available Environment : It’s available in lightning experience and classic.(For enabling this feature you have to choose lightning experience)

Salesforce Editions : It’s available in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions.

This feature is very good for your business and sales team will perform better. Please keep these things in mind for better scoring and Salesforce must meet the following criteria.

  • Contains at least 200 closed-won opportunities over the last 24 months with each opportunity having a lifespan of at least two days.
  • Has at least 200 closed-lost opportunities during the previous 24 months with each opportunity having a lifespan of at least two days.
  • Utilizes the standard stage field as Salesforce uses the standard stages to calculate the win rate which, in turn, is used to generate scores.

How to make it in your org?

  1. If you use Lightning Experience, from Setup, enter Assisted Setup in the Quick Find box, and then select Assisted Setup.

If it’s your first time visiting the Sales Cloud Einstein setup page, click Get Started.

The setup page shows all the steps you need for Sales Cloud Einstein deployment, including how to assign Einstein to users.

2. If you use Salesforce Classic, from Setup, enter Einstein Opportunity Scoring in the Quick Find box, and then select Einstein Opportunity Scoring.

3. Turn on Einstein Opportunity Scoring.
We analyze your teams’ past opportunities to build a scoring model. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on how much data you have. If you don’t see scores a few days after turning on Einstein, review information about how Einstein scores your opportunities. If you still need help, contact Salesforce Customer Support for assistance

4. Add the Opportunity Score field to your opportunity page layouts.

In Lightning Experience (Grouped view), add the Opportunity Score field to your customized opportunity page layouts. Salesforce automatically adds this field to default compact layouts.

In Lightning Experience (Full view), Salesforce automatically adds the Opportunity Score field to the Details section of your default and custom layouts.

In Salesforce Classic, add the Opportunity Score field to your customized page layouts for opportunities. Salesforce automatically adds this field to the Details section of default page layouts.

5. By default, the Opportunity Score field is on the Recently Viewed list view for opportunities, but add it to public opportunity list views. To get the most out of Einstein Opportunity Scoring, ask your sales teams to add this field to their own opportunity list views.

6. If you use Collaborative Forecasts, add the Opportunity Score field to the opportunity list on the forecasts page.

7. Add the Opportunity Score field to your opportunity reports where appropriate.
